PreCoat pretreatment for vertical powder coating lines with major water and energy savings

In response to the European Green Deal, AD International partnered with Corialis Group to reduce the environmental footprint of aluminium surface pre-treatment for vertical powder coating lines, without compromising coating performance. The result is an optimised concept built around the PreCoat pretreatment system, combining measurable resource savings with a robust, chromium-free conversion layer designed to support demanding architectural requirements, including QualiCoat and Qualimarine.

The optimised process features a sustainable water management concept that recirculates process water and cuts consumption from approximately 4,000–5,000 to 500–900 litres per hour. Within the PreCoat system, the chromium-free conversion layer promotes excellent paint adhesion and strong anti-corrosion performance for powder-coated aluminium components.
