AD stands for Advanced Development. As part of AD International, AD Chemicals GmbH specializes in the chemical surface treatment of metals. Our solutions are used worldwide in powder coating, wet painting and hot-dip galvanizing—suitable for aluminum, galvanized steel, steel and multi-metal applications.

With more than 20 years of experience in Chromium(VI)-free technology, we are pioneers in sustainable surface engineering. Our goal: making processes more environmentally friendly—without compromising on quality, adhesion or corrosion protection. Through innovative chemistry and process optimization, we reduce energy, water and chemical consumption as well as operational costs—fully in line with the Green Deal.

Our robust pretreatment systems offer a true alternative to traditional processes and often exceed them in corrosion protection and paint adhesion. One example is our MM31 One-Step Pretreatment Technology, which combines cleaning, degreasing and conversion coating in a single step.
