Retrofit by HARTER – Efficient Modernisation of Existing Drying Systems

With a HARTER retrofit, existing drying systems are upgraded to state-of-the-art Airgenex® or Drymex® technology – energy-efficient, reliable and sustainable. Heat-pump condensation drying in a closed air loop and optimised airflow increase quality and throughput, reduce energy and CO₂ costs, and eliminate the need for a completely new system. Existing rooms, conveyors and racks remain in use.

Heat-pump condensation drying
Defined, extremely dry process air in a closed system ensures low energy demand, exhaust-air-free operation and climate-independent, reproducible results.

Optimised airflow
Air volume and direction are tailored to product, geometry and layer height – for homogeneous, spot-free and stable drying.

Short modification time
Retrofits are implemented during planned downtimes with pre-assembled modules and defined interfaces – minimising production stoppages.

Lower investment & funding
Since rooms and handling systems remain, investment is significantly reduced. In many cases, retrofits qualify for up to 45% funding.

Energy & CO₂ savings
Heat pump and heat recovery reduce consumption and emissions – in practice up to 75% energy savings, depending on the existing system.

Easy mechanical integration
Airgenex®/Drymex® modules can be placed separately from the drying chamber, ideal for tight layouts or existing conveyor and carrier systems.
