HangOn introduces a major update of their Coating Cost Calculator (CCC) – the most advanced tool on the market for understanding, simulating and optimizing coating costs.

During PaintExpo, HangOn will present a strongly updated version of CCC, designed to support coating professionals with detailed insight into production costs and profitability. In coating production, cost control is a critical factor, as operational parameters directly affect capacity and output. Yet, many companies are unaware of how much profit potential their coating line has. Parameters such as hanging density or handling time can significantly influence throughput, costs and revenue. With the CCC, these effects become visible and measurable.

The CCC can be used to quickly summarize cost effects through standard cases, calculate the impact of improvements in customer projects, and support decision makers with deeper insight into coating economics.

The first version of CCC was launched in 2022, followed by the introduction of sustainability metrics and CO₂ calculations in 2024. Now, after nearly two years of intensive development, HangOn is proud to present a major upgrade.

The new CCC delivers in-depth cost analysis, including a complete coating line income statement for both batch calculations and full-year simulations. User experience has been improved with guided cases, data libraries, line objects, hangers, support for local currencies – and the Quick Effect.

The Quick Effect highlights how reduced handling time during hanging can unlock large savings. An effect that now becomes clearly visible and easy to quantify.

At PaintExpo 2026, visitors can experience CCC through cases with real physical examples – or simulate their own coating process in just three simple steps, to receive a detailed, data-driven analysis.
