The QIB is a quality association that awards a quality mark for industrial coating by powder, KTL and liquid coating on the substrates aluminum, steel and galvanized steel. In order to ensure a consistently high coating quality for the client, members must have high-quality laboratory equipment and carry out extensive self-control measurements. After examination by an independent institute, the quality mark is awarded. With the certification, various other standard requirements (DBS 918340, EN 1090, DIN 55634) can also be met.
Since 2020, QIB also awards a special quality mark for liquid coating in the rail vehicle industry.
