STA entrifugal separators clean process fluids without filter consumables in many areas of surface technology where conventional filter technology is not possible, insufficient or causes high consumption costs. They remove sludge and foreign oil, e.g. in degreasing and phosphating plants, during parts cleaning or vibratory grinding. Thanks to optimum liquid acceleration, high separation rates are achieved even for particles < 3 µm. The solids discharged are dry and can be disposed of directly, meaning that STA separators achieve very short payback periods in wet painting systems. Another rapidly growing area of application is the use of these separators for desludging chemical paint stripping baths.
