GEHOLIT + WIEMER presents a newly developed electrostatically dissipative liquid coating for industrial coating processes and ATEX applications. The system is easy to apply, offers strong adhesion on a wide range of substrates (including steel, cast iron, aluminium and plastics), and provides precisely adjustable dissipative performance combined with high chemical resistance. Optimised flow and levelling properties reduce material consumption and rework, making processes more economical. For use in hazardous (Ex) zones, suitability has been verified through testing by the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), including 2- and 3-coat build-ups up to 960 µm. The system consists of the epoxy primer GEHOPON-E41A-Metallgrund and the matte, dissipative PUR topcoat WIEREGEN-M42A.
