MKR Metzger GmbH designs and manufactures atmospheric evaporators for the efficient treatment of industrial wastewater and process water. The systems are engineered for continuous operation at atmospheric pressure and are suitable for a wide range of demanding media, including rinse waters, process baths, emulsions, and chemical wastewater.
A core element of MKR evaporation technology is Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR). The vapor generated during evaporation is mechanically recompressed and reused as heating energy within the process. This results in very low specific energy consumption, high process stability, and reliable distillate quality. The technology forms the basis for energy-efficient Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) solutions.
MKR evaporator systems are designed specifically for each application, taking into account the medium, flow rate, and target water quality. Thanks to their modular design, the systems can be easily integrated into existing processes.
