ASIS presents itself as an automation expert for perfect surfaces and will be showcasing a refined range of services, technology partnerships, an expanded service portfolio, and sustainable product innovations at PaintExpo in Karlsruhe from April 14 to 17, 2026. Visitors will experience ASIS's proven 360° program – from coating and quality assurance to surface treatment, simulation, and virtual commissioning. ASIS thus makes it possible to automate demanding processes for which there were previously no standard solutions. Retrofit – modernize instead of rebuilding ASIS shows how operators of existing paint and powder coating systems can use retrofits to specifically increase productivity, energy efficiency, availability, and safety – from PLC/software upgrades to sensor technology and visualization to automation and digital networking. Supported by digital pre-acceptance tests, 3D scans, and simulation, this results in transparent data flows, fast commissioning, and long-term process reliability.

Retrofit extends the service life of existing technology, reduces resource consumption compared to new systems, and creates the basis for data-based optimization and modern maintenance and analysis concepts. Partial coating – automated, precise, and without manual labor ASIS presents a fully automated solution for partial powder coating that completely replaces manual work steps. The system includes automated plug removal, flexible masking techniques, robot-based coating, and targeted powder extraction—tailored for reproducible quality, short cycle times, and high material efficiency. Reusable masks, chemical-free cleaning, and powder recovery save resources and operating costs.
