NEW PRODUCT: Recognized research project on energy-efficient heat recovery in paint booths
Feige Lackieranlagen GmbH & Co. KG
Feige Lackieranlagen has developed a new ventilation system architecture for industrial paint booths that combines high-level heat recovery with almost complete separation of paint-laden particles for the first time. At the heart of the solution is a heat recovery system specially designed for exhaust air containing particles and solvents, which was developed experimentally and optimized with the aid of simulations. It achieves a heat recovery rate of at least 67 percent with over 99 percent particle separation. The system architecture thus addresses the central energy and process requirements of modern paint shops and is suitable for both new installations and retrofit applications. The research and development character of the approach has been officially recognized by the Research Allowance Certification Authority.
