edrizzi® is presenting a new technological development at PaintExpo 2026 in Karlsruhe that fundamentally expands the principle of paint mist separation. The new separation system was specially developed for use with demanding paint systems and high-speed bell application, with a focus on the effective capture of extremely fine, difficult-to-separate paint particles. Unlike previous solutions in the edrizzi® portfolio, the system is not based on the familiar impact separation principle, but on an alternative physical principle of action. This is brainflash GmbH's response to the growing demands of modern painting processes in the automotive industry – especially with complex surface materials and high process speeds. The innovation also marks a paradigm shift in the edrizzi® system architecture. The patented, well-known labyrinth principle of edrizzi® has been replaced by a new structure in this innovation. At the same time, the new module remains fully compatible with the existing edrizzi® modular system: the external dimensions correspond to the standard size, eliminating the need for system conversions. With this development, edrizzi® is breaking new technological ground – and laying the foundation for even more efficient, resource-saving, and adaptable solutions in industrial paint separation. In addition, edrizzi® distribution partners Nittmann Filter (Hall 1, Booth 1110) and Freudenberg Filtration Technologies (Hall 1, Booth 1450) as well as Technicis Filtration (Hall 2, Booth 2630) will also be exhibiting edrizzi® products at the trade fair.
