MERLIN ORBIT WING®: Up to 99 per cent less power consumption thanks to high-pressure air humidification

Merlin Technology will be presenting the ORBIT WING® high-pressure air humidification system at PaintExpo 2026, which revolutionises power consumption. ORBIT WING® requires only 2.5–3 W of electrical energy to evaporate 1 kg of water – saving up to 99% compared to conventional steam humidifiers. The patented design shortens the evaporation distance by 50% and achieves an evaporation efficiency of up to 98%. The system is retrofittable and can be easily integrated into existing HVAC systems. Paint shops benefit from stable humidity, optimised surface quality and drastically reduced operating costs.
