The AFOTEK Clean System

Biological exhaust air purification uses a natural, microbiological mechanism: specialised aerobic microorganisms biochemically convert gaseous organic pollutants into odourless, harmless end products by oxidising them into carbon dioxide and water. In contrast to conventional processes, this purely biological-chemical system requires virtually no external heat or heating energy. This means that even solvent-containing exhaust air streams can be cleaned without costly concentration and in a particularly economical manner.

During a virtual 3D tour with VR glasses, visitors to PaintExpo can discover the system technology in detail and operate it interactively – and even apply digital powder coating. Interested visitors can immerse themselves in the future of surface technology.

The new generation of the AFOTEK shuttle conveyor system (ASF) will be on display in a detailed automated miniature powder coating system. At the AFOTEK stand, visitors will not only be able to experience the innovative shuttle conveyor technology, but also receive live powder-coated giveaways.

With its new CoatAnalytics and CoatManager products, the Bad Hersfeld-based company is bringing artificial intelligence directly into the coating process: in modern painting technology, detailed and precise process data are crucial for production quality and efficiency. The self-developed systems offer precise monitoring, accurate analysis and tracking of the history of the painting processes of your AFOTEK system. The products thus combine system intelligence with individual company processes and enable continuous digital control of the painting line.
