In 2012, KMWE began developing its own dust and paint mist extraction system, the Clair5000, which remains the top model and has been in series production since 2015. Various versions of this system are now available, depending on the customer's application.

The system is a useful addition for all businesses that have to contend with paint mist and/or dust as well as other pollutants.

It complies with the TRGS900 guideline for dust.

At Paintexpo, a variant that can also be used for electrically conductive dusts will be on display, as well as special filters for dust and welding fumes.

A funnel system for paint mist and another for welding fumes will be on display. At our booth, we will be demonstrating how activated carbon can be tested quickly and reliably using our AKT5000 activated carbon filter testing device.

Thanks to KMWE's in-house development and modular design of the device, Clair can be adapted to almost all customer requirements and wishes.

The device has a five-stage filter system and can filter not only paint mist, but also solvents and other pollutants from the air. This filtration is ensured by the pre- and main filters with a downstream compact fine dust filter and a specially designed activated carbon cell (115 kg).

The specially developed filter sequence in the Clair5000 prevents clogging of the activated carbon filter by means of a compact fine dust filter upstream of the activated carbon filter.

The requirements of the TRGS 900 guideline with regard to dust are met.
