PhoenixTM offers solutions for measuring and monitoring oven temperature and has now added a new optical monitoring system to its existing system for in-process temperature monitoring in paint dryers. The optical system is able to view the oven interior as well as the product under production conditions. Equipped with a camera and illuminants, the system travels through the process and records what is happening to the paint at the relevant points. The causes of paint noses, drops and other quality problems specific to the firing process can thus be investigated.
