Interview with Gabriele Rabold
Gabriele Rabold, Product Manager Paint Stripping Systems, SMiTO-Technic GmbH in Interview.
In your opinion, what are currently the biggest challenges for painting companies and job-shop coaters?
On the one hand, product lifetimes are becoming shorter and shorter and individual customizing is becoming increasingly important. As a result, the quantities in the respective painting or coating process are becoming smaller and the cost pressure greater.
On the other hand, topics such as sustainability and ecological management are playing a more and more important role. The search for suitable staff and staff retention are putting companies under increasing pressure.
From your standpoint, what are the best ways to optimize coating processes?
In-house processes offer advantages in flexibility and quality assurance, save time, energy and resources because there is no need to transport goods.
What trends are emerging in your area of industrial painting technology?
Optimization of the entire process chain with focus on environmental protection and occupational health and safety.
What developments/solutions does your company offer for these trends?
Safe and clean solutions for in-house paint stripping, which adapts to the development of companies through a modular concept and can, for example, grow with them. Multi-tank systems combine paint stripping, rinsing and conveyance of the workpieces in a complete system.
What significance does PaintExpo have for your company?
The Trade Fair offers an optimal platform to present our innovative paint stripping technology to a broad professional audience.
