Interview with Ansgar von den Busch
Ansgar von den Busch, Sales Manager General industry & Powder coatings, Teknos Deutschland GmbH in Interview.
In your opinion, what are currently the biggest challenges for painting companies and job-shop coaters?
The ever-worsening legal situation, changes in the labeling of some raw materials and the resulting need for raw material exchange pose ever greater challenges for manufacturers and users.
This causes adjustments and changes in the painting process.
From your standpoint, what are the best ways to optimize coating processes?
By adapting the products to the painting lines, e.g. by reducing the layers and / or layer thicknesses, accelerating the drying rate and increasing the solids content.
What trends are emerging in your area of industrial painting technology?
2K HS or VHS PUR systems as well as isocyanate-free coating systems (polysiloxane coatings, etc.).
What developments/solutions does your company offer for these trends?
The further development and optimization of products in cooperation with our customers. In addition, we place an even stronger focus on more sustainable solutions and services, e.g. Environmentally friendlier paint systems and process optimization on the paint lines.
What significance does PaintExpo have for your company?
We look at PaintExpo as a leading trade fair for industrial coating technology and thus one of the most important meeting places in the industry. The trade fair is an important communication tool for us and gives us the opportunity to present our products and services to a professional audience.
